The Bedford County Fair proudly returned from the 2025 Tennessee Association of Fairs (TAF) Annual Convention with a haul of awards for its commitment to excellence and community engagement. The fair was honored with the distinguished Merit Award from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, recognizing outstanding contributions to the fair and community.
In addition to the Merit Award, they landed several top finishes:
- 1st Place in Fair Photo Collage
- 1st Place in Creative Fair Ag Idea
- 1st Place in Fair Ribbon Craft (Created by Jo Ann Fann)
- 1st Place in Non-Professional Pageant Stage Decor
- 2nd Place in Scrapbook AA Division
- 3rd Place in Premium Fair Book AA Division
- 3rd Place in Digital Scrapbook
Amidst these organizational accolades, a special individual honor was awarded to Jamie Robinson, who received the Judy Basse Secretary of the Year Award. This prestigious award celebrates Jamie’s remarkable dedication to enhancing the quality and reach of our fair and her relentless effort to make it a success.
They also proudly recognize Bedford County Fairest of the Fair Allie Byrom, who represented the fair beautifully in the TAF Fairest of the Fair Pageant. Competing against 47 other talented young women, Allie demonstrated the charm and grace that make our fair and community proud.
These accolades from the TAF Convention are a testament to the passion and hard work of our board members, volunteers, participants, and community supporters.
