BELL BUCKLE — The Cascade Lady Champions gave a dominant effort that ended in a 12-0 win in three innings against the Lady Knights on Friday night.
Shaylan Burt spun a one-hitter and struck out four batters to take the win in the pitcher’s circle.
Jocelyn Laughlin drove in the first run of the night on a RBI single to left, scoring Ella thompson.
Momo Bilbro then scored on a bunt single by Alyvia Fannin, giving Cascade a 2-0 lead early.
Cascade plated two more runs from Laughlin and Fannin who both scored on a wild pitch later in the inning.
Leading 4-0 after one, Cascade poured it on in the second frame and plated eight more runs to blow the game wide open.
The Lady Knights were plagued with three errors and gave up four walks in the inning as well.
The biggest hit of the game came on a base-clearing RBI from Momo Bilbro to score the final three runs of the game.
Bilbro went 1-for-2 with three RBIs, while Laughlin, Fannin and Parker each finished with two RBIs to their credit.
