nnings, Cascade was unable to connect on two-out hits and the score remained deadlocked through the first two frames.
In the six-run third, Cascade took advantage of three walks, two singles and a base-clearing triple  by Xykaiah Dixon to blow the game wide open.
Thomas Demartelaere and Wickey Parker also connected on base hits in the inning.
Jaxson Millikin drew a bases-loaded walk to score River Maddox for the first run of the night.
Parker then scored on a passed ball, before Elijah Wessenberg and Jordan Childress drew back-to-back walks.
Cascade then played add on in the fifth when Dixon struck again and connected on a groundball single, scoring two more runs.
A sac-fly RBI from Demartelaere and a RBI single by Daymian Maldonado accounted for the final two runs to reach the 10-run rule limit.
Dixon was the offensive juggernaut for the Champs, going 2-for-4 with a double and a triple and driving in five runs.
The collective offensive efforts by the Champs, with the standout night by Dixon, was complemented by an outstanding pitching performance from Caleb Crouch.
Crouch went the distance for Cascade and gave up one hit, four walks and struck out seven in five shutout innings.
