DESCRIPTION:The UT/TSU Extension Office will be holding canning colleges on Friday\, June 7\, or Saturday\, June 8\, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church on the Shelbyville Square.  You must pre-register for by calling the Extension Office at 931-684-5971. The cost is $15 and space is limited to 12 participants. This is a hands-on class that teaches the current recommendations for water bath and pressure canning and is a good update if you have canned before or a good beginning if you have not canned at all.
