DESCRIPTION:Southside Church of Christ has partnered with Healing Hands International\, a faith-based nonprofit that provides physical and spiritual opportunities to those in need around the world. They do this through programs like clean water\, sustainable farming\, business development for women\, and resources for local evangelists. \nThrough the partnership with HHI\, the Southside Church of Christ will take part in hosting a Walk4Water event. Walk4Water is an event where they will repeat the 4-mile average walk in an underdeveloped country to retrieve water. They carry as much water as possible for 4 miles! All proceeds will go to develop a well in an underdeveloped country. The Southside Church of Christ Walk4Water will be April 13 at 10 am at the Shelbyville Central High School. Registration will begin at 9:30 am. Participants may spontaneously show up the day of the walk\, but pre-registration is encouraged so that they can have an adequate amount of water\, snacks\, and supplies available. The Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association has a variety of levels of competition for everyone\, ranging from novice levels to the seasoned professional.” \nThe C.M.S.A. will also return to Cooper Steel Arena Sept. 6-14.

The series of eight classes consists of discussion\, activities and exercises to reduce fall risks and increase strength and balance. The class is free and will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays\, March 1 – 26\, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Shelbyville/Bedford County Senior Citizens Center. Class is limited to 15 and you must call the Extension Office at 931-684-5971 to register or for more information.
