National Ag Week is March 16 – 25 with March 18th set aside as National Ag Day. It is a day to recognize and celebrate the abundance provided by agriculture, which is no doubt our most important industry. The Bedford County Farm Bureau Women provide an agricultural display every year at the Shelbyville Public Library, hoping to encourage young people to take an interest in agriculture. The display consists of a cow milking station, chickens, roosters, farm related books, and a baby pig adoption station. This display will be available for viewing for the entire month of March.
