Bedford County Schools is proud to announce the exceptional achievements of the academic Top Ten students from our high schools: Cascade High School, Community High School and Shelbyville Central High School. These outstanding students have demonstrated a remarkable commitment to their education, and their dedication is a testament to their hard work, perseverance and academic excellence.

Superintendent Dr. Tammy Garrett expressed her pride in this year’s outstanding group of students.
“We are incredibly proud of our Top Ten students from Community High School, Shelbyville Central High School and Cascade High School. Their academic achievements highlight the dedication and discipline that are a hallmark of Bedford County Schools. As we celebrate their success, we look forward to the future they are shaping for themselves and the example they set for their peers. This is a true testament to the hard work of the students, their families and our dedicated educators.”
Each principal also expressed their admiration for their students’ accomplishments:
Mrs. Sandy Sorrells, Principal of Cascade High School, added: “The academic achievements of our Top Ten students reflect their dedication to excellence and the strong academic foundation provided by our teachers. I am so proud of the work they have done, and I am excited to see them continue to thrive and lead the way in their future endeavors.”
Dr. Robert Ralston, Principal of Community High School, said: “These students have set a remarkable standard for academic excellence. Their passion for learning and commitment to their studies inspire the entire school community. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and look forward to seeing the great things they will achieve in the future.”
Mr. Charlie Pope, Principal of Shelbyville Central High School, stated: “Being in the Top Ten is an extraordinary accomplishment, and I couldn’t be prouder of these students. They have shown what it takes to succeed both in and out of the classroom. It’s an
exciting time for Shelbyville Central, and these students are helping to elevate the reputation of our school. I can’t wait to see what they do next.”
