The Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE), in partnership with Belmont University, has named 71 school leaders to participate in the 2025-26 cohort of the Tennessee Rural Principals Network (TRPN). Among the honorees is Principal of Liberty School Daniella Beckman, who will represent Bedford County Schools in this statewide initiative.
The TRPN provides participants with opportunities to:
• Explore the unique challenges and opportunities in rural school leadership;
• Learn strategies to ensure high-quality instruction;
• Strengthen recruitment, retention and support of rural educators;
• Build meaningful relationships among other rural district leaders;
• Access effective resources tailored to the rural context.
“We are extremely proud of Dr. Beckman’s selection to the Tennessee Rural Principals Network,” said Superintendent of Bedford County Schools Dr. Tammy Garrett. “Her dedication to students and staff at Liberty School exemplifies the strong leadership we value in our district, and we are confident that her participation will bring valuable insights and strategies back to benefit our entire school community.”
The 2025-26 TRPN cohort continues TDOE’s commitment to supporting rural educators and strengthening leadership capacity across Tennessee’s school systems.
