The Bedford County UT Extension 4-H Youth Development teamed up with Lynchburg Soap Co. for a candle-making activity with some students that take part in their youth groups. These students picked out a scent they loved, black raspberry vanilla being the top favorite, and mixed the scent in with the wax to make the candle. This was a neat project for the students and a learning experiment on measurements. The Lynchburg Soap Co. is located in Shelbyville at 101 Northside Circle, Shelbyville. Their hours are 9:00am-3:00pm Monday through Saturday.
