Viqueens roll over Oakland and Loretto. Prince throws a no-hitter at Loretto.

Community pitcher Annie Prince had was nearly untouchable against Oakland and Loretto. She combined for 31 strikeouts over 12 innings of work including a no-hitter against Loretto.

After an early setback to DCA on Tuesday, the Community Viqueens rode the arm of Annie Prince and a surging offense to close the week with back-to-back shutout victories, including a district-opening win at Loretto.

Community couldn’t overcome an early deficit Tuesday, falling 4–2 to Donelson Christian Academy in Unionville. DCA set the tone in the opening inning when Averie Beltran launched a two-run home run to center field.

The Wildcats added another run in the third on a solo shot by Madison McHenry to extend the lead.

Community showed life late, getting a solo home run from Mattie Maxey in the seventh inning, but the rally came up short.

Ashlyn Elliott earned the complete-game victory for DCA, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out five and walking one.

Gracie Daniel started in the circle for the Viqueens, giving up three runs on six hits over three innings. Ryleigh Lassiter provided a strong relief effort, allowing just one run on one hit across four innings.

At the plate, Alana Tate led Community with two hits, while Annie Prince and Maxey each drove in a run.

Annie Prince delivered a commanding performance in the circle Wednesday, striking out 16 batters to lead the Community Viqueens to a 9–0 shutout victory over Oakland.

Prince was nearly untouchable, allowing just one hit over seven innings while walking none in a complete-game effort.

Community wasted little time getting on the board. Haylee Webb sparked the offense in the first inning with a triple that drove in two runs, giving the Viqueens an early advantage they would not relinquish.

The Viqueens continued to build their lead in the second inning. Ryleigh Lassiter doubled, while Alana Tate and Anna Haskins each added RBI singles to extend the margin.

At the plate, Community produced a balanced offensive attack, collecting 15 hits. Webb led the way with three RBIs, finishing 2-for-4. Prince, Gracie Daniel, and Haskins each recorded three hits, helping fuel the lopsided win.

Prince was in complete control from the start, throwing a no-hitter over five innings while striking out 15 and walking just one.

Community (6-4, 1-0) wasted little time providing support. The Viqueens opened the scoring in the first inning when Haylee Webb drove in a run on a groundout.

The offense broke the game open in the second inning, plating four runs behind RBI singles from Ryleigh Lassiter and Alana Tate to build a comfortable lead.

Community continued to add on in the third, with Kailani Allen drawing a bases-loaded walk and Kamyrn Farrell delivering an RBI single to push the advantage to 7-0.

The final two innings proved to be more of the same for the Viqueens as they added two runs in the fourth and four more in the fifth to extend the lead to the final score of 13-0.

Gracie Daniel led the Viqueens at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a triple, double, and single. Tate finished 2-for-4 and drove in a team-high three runs, while Mattie Maxey added two hits, including a double. Webb, Farrell, Lassiter, Anna Haskins, Brooklyn Yoes and Victoria Wells also had hits for Community.

The Viqueens will rest up until they host Cascade on Thursday at 5:30 PM before heading to Fort Walton Beach for a tournament over spring break.
