Bedford Louis Walls, 82, of Shelbyville died April 14, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at noon on Thursday, April 18, at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Brother Elbert Smith officiating. Burial followed at Swanson Cemetery. Visitation began at 10 a.m.
He was a native of Bedford County; owner/operator of Walls Stump Grinding Service, and a member of the Baptist Church. His famous words were “It’ll Take Just a Minute.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Walls and Mattie Ellen Sanders Walls Thornberry; his first wife, Martha Gayle Walls; his second wife, Barbara Gayle Walls; a son, Toby Louis Walls and a daughter, Tina Gayle Walls.
He is survived by a son, Tracy Hugh Walls (Vickie); two grandchildren, Jennifer Warren (T.J.), Miranda Barnes (Calvin); three great-grandchildren, Hailee Warren, Alyssa Walls, and Weston Barnes.
