Betty Ann Frye Cook, 86 of Wartrace, died November 9, 2023.
She was retired from Empire Pencil Co. where she worked for over 40 years and was a former cafeteria worker for Harris Middle School. She was an awesome mother and grandmother who loved her family very very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Cawhorn and Marquerite Pearson Frye; a son, Phillip Mark Cook; two brothers, Jim Frye and Bob Frye. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Elmore Cook.
Betty is survived by a son, Terry Lee (Carolyn) Cook; grandchildren, Brandy (David) Raby, Heather (Dustin) Warren, Jonathan Heath Cook; great grandchildren, Dustin Isaiah Warren, Jason Levi Warren, Haleigh Evans and Aubree Raby; brother, John Daniel (Scottie) Frye and sister, Patsy (Beecher) Arp.
Per her wishes she will be cremated. No services are scheduled. Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
