Donald Kenneth Armstrong, 88, of Bremo Bluff, Va., died November 21, 2023. Graveside Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 1, at Hollywood Cemetery, Wartrace, Tenn. Jeff Collet officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home.
He was born October 5, 1935 in Wartrace; retired Farmer-Cattleman; retired employee of Cooper Communities Inc. and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed college football especially Alabama Crimson Tide and fishing and farming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Armstrong and Thelma Mae Bush Staley; two brothers, Ralph Armstrong and Maurice Armstrong.
Donald is survived by his wife, Lynn Draper Armstrong; his children, Donna Armstrong Clanton, Lisa Armstrong (Greg Grove) of Shelbyville, David G. (Leilah) Armstrong of Bell Buckle, Donald Scott (Rebekah) Armstrong of Derby, Kansas; five grandchildren, Ryan Webb, Kristan Falkum, Kelby Sanders, Kelly Owens, Nathan Armstrong; four great-grandchildren, Landon Webb, Eli Webb, Joseph Owens, Holden Falkum.
