FRANKLIN — Shelbyville Central erased a slim first-half deficit and went on a tear over the final two quarters to beat FRA in the 2024-2025 season opener on Tuesday night, 66-52.
Early on, offense was a struggle for the Eagles, who only mustered up nine points in the first quarter.
Shelbyville matched FRA’s 15 points in the second frame, but exiting the half, the Eagles went on an absolute tear exiting the half thanks to the efforts of Tae’Shawn Shelton and Jordan Taylor.

As a team, the Eagles cashed in on 5-of-5 attempts.
With the momentum firmly in hand, the Eagles continue to pour it on, but were able to spread around the offense.
