Eaglettes dominant in 1st win

SHLEBYVILLE — Shelbyville Central dominated Glencliff in a Saturday afternoon matinee to claim the first win of the season, 76-10.
Shelbyville dominated every facet of the game and of the 12 dressed members, 11 found their way in the scoring column.
Shelbyville outscored Glencliff 20-4 in the first quarter and added 16 more in the second quarter for a 36-9 halftime lead.
The Eaglettes continued to thrive, outscoring the visitors 31-0 in the third quarter before closing the game with 11 points in the fourth.
Jada Berry’s 21 points led all scorers, with 10 coming in the third period.
Jaz Western and Lanaya Young both added 11 for the winners as well.
The Eaglettes took part in the Boots Scott Classic on Monday and Tuesday, but will return to Rick Insell Gymnasium on December 2, facing Summit.
