In honor of Women’s History Month, Gilliland Historical Society will be hosting a “Sip and Read Tea Party” from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 30, at the First Community Bank Conference Room, 207 Elm St. There will be a guest appearance by Dr. Avila (Ivy) Hendricks Nilon.
