The Shelbyville-Bedford County Public Library will hold an After-School Storytime for all ages on Thursday, Jan. 25, at 3 p.m. After-School Storytime is open to school-age and younger children alike. The library’s interactive story times introduce young children to reading, music, STEAM, and language with stories, songs, and activities.

The next distribution day for the Wheel Community Food Pantry will be Jan. 26 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 2547 Hwy 64 West. A photo ID is required and no more than two families per car.

The South Central Resource Agency will hold a commodities distribution at the Ag Center on Midland Road on Jan. 31 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. It is on a first come first serve basis.

A book signing with Fredia Lusk will Saturday, February 3, at 10 a.m. at the Shelbyville-Bedford County Library. Hear from local author Fredia Lusk about her book, "African Americans Living in Bedford County from 1820 to 2020." Over the course of three years, Fredia Lusk researched local African American history in Bedford County from historical archives
The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 5019, and it's Auxiliary will host their 2nd Saturday of the month FUNDRAISER BREAKFAST Saturday, February 10, from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the VFW Post, 1320 Depot Street.
