The Bedford County Board of Education monthly meeting will be held at Community High School, 100 Community Crossing in Unionville, on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m. The ribbon cutting for the new wing at Community High will be at 5 p.m.
The Wartrace Board of Mayor and Alderman will meet Thursday, Sept. 21, at 5:30 p.m. for a work study. Their regular BOMA session will be Monday, Sept. 25, at 5:30 p.m.

The Walk to End Alzheimer's will be Sat., Sept. 23, at the Jack Daniel's Welcome Center. Registration will be at 8:30 a.m. and the ceremony at 9 a.m. The Murfreesboro Walk to End Alzheimer's will also be Sat., Oct. 28, at Siegel High School on Siegel Rd. Registration will be at 8:30 with opening ceremony at 9:15.
Blankenship UMC’s 3rd annual Faith & Fellowship Fun Show will be Saturday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3602 Midland Rd. STEAM Club (for K-5th) will be Tues., Sept. 26 at 4 p.m. at the Shelbyville-Bedford County Library. Young learners will get to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics in fresh and exciting ways through hands-on projects at the Library.
The Bedford County Financial Management Committee meets in Room 110 of Bedford County Business Complex, 200 Dover St., and is livestreamed on the county's YouTube channel. The meeting starts at 4:15.
