The Tennessee Golf Association will wrap up its 2024 championship schedule at Riverbend Country Club as they’re set to host the Senior and Super Senior Match Play championships. This will be the course’s fifth time hosting a TGA championship. The Shelbyville-area course last hosted in 1994 when they welcomed the Tennessee Junior Amateur and Tennessee

The 27th Annual Rotary Club of Shelbyville Golf Tournament is scheduled for May 3 at Riverbend Country Club. There are four levels of sponsorship with benefits based on which one is chosen: *Eagle Sponsor: $1,500 *Birdie Sponsor: $1,000 *Par Sponsor: $625 *Hole Sponsor: $250 The entry fee for a team of four players is $500.

A sobriety checkpoint will be present on Friday, May 3, at 9 p.m. on US 41A North about a mile south of the 3-mile marker in Bedford County.

The Annual Flat Creek Community Center Spaghetti Supper will be May 4, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. The cost is $10 and includes spaghetti, salad, bread, drink, and dessert.
