The Shelbyville-Bedford County Senior Citizens Center, 111 J.G. Helton Dr., will be hosting an indoor yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 7 to 11 a.m. All proceeds go to the center. Blankenship UMC, 3602 Midland Rd., will be hosting a Chili Supper and Singing event on Oct. 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. They will have home cooked chili over an open fire, gospel singing, and a goody basket raffle. Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
“Music in Raus” will be Saturday, Oct. 14, at 6:30 to 9 p.m. at 110 John Brinkley Rd. in Shelbyville. The event is a tri-county historical preservation fundraising event focused on restoring and preserving the Raus Schoolhouse. The night will feature Midnight Jane, a silent auction, a historical slideshow, and great BBQ.
