Blankenship Community Church, 3602 Midland Rd., will be hosting their 1st Saturday of the Month free breakfast starting at 8 a.m. They will serve sausage, biscuits, hog jaw bacon, coffee, potatoes, country ham, gravy, eggs, pork tenderloin. A Car Show will be held at Shelbyville Central High School, 401 Eagle Blvd., on Saturday, April 6, beginning at 10 a.m. The event will feature vendors, food, and a car competition. The cost is $25 per entry. All donations benefit the high school football program.
The Flat Creek Community Center will have their regular potluck meal at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 6. Guitarists Ben Ayers and Dakota Lawen will perform a set of traditional music with bassist and percussionist, Angela Wood, at 7 p.m. following the meal. The show will feature songs and instrumental tunes from America and Ireland
The Webb School Webb Company Players will perform “Little Shop of Horrors” April 11-13 on the Follin Chapel Stage at 7 p.m. The spring play is presented in Association with Music Theatre International, book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and lyrics by Alan Menken. Southside Church of Christ has partnered with Healing Hands International, a faith-based nonprofit that provides physical and spiritual opportunities to those in need around the world. They do this through programs like clean water, sustainable farming, business development for women, and resources for local evangelists. Pleasant Grove Rich Valley Community Club Semi-Annual Supper will be Tuesday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at Liberty Lions Club Building on U.S. 231 South in Shelbyville. Meal will be potluck with meat and drink is provided. Everyone invited.
Tennessee College of Applied Technology Shelbyville (TCAT) is excited to announce the upcoming Spring Graduation Ceremony, honoring the achievements of all 2023 term graduates and Spring 2024 term graduates.
