The Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department is hosting “Storytime with Santa” on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 8:30 a.m. Santa will read a story. Cookies, milk and juice will be served. Riverbend Ranch, 239 Cortner Mill Rd. in Normandy, will be hosting a Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 9 a.m. and then at 11:30 a.m. You can enjoy a pancake breakfast around the table, a photo-op with Santa, and go on a hay ride around the ranch. Tickets are for sale online only
The Gilliland Historical Resource Center Inc. will be having a Pictures & Cookies with Santa event on Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Gilliland House Cabin, 803 Lipscomb St., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Sunday, Dec. 17, the Sevier Street First Baptist Church, will celebrate The 3rd Advent Sunday with Minister Quinton Perkins delivering The Spoken Word at 10 a.m. Youth will also participate in The Angel Tree of gift giving. The community is invited and lunch will be served.
