Local authors and longtime residents of Bedford County and surrounding areas will be reading aloud their Christmas memories by the fireplace on Thursday, Dec. 7, at 1:30 p.m. at the Shelbyville-Bedford County Library. Bedford County Retired Teachers will meet Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. at Emmy's (Urban Plantation). The program will be "A Christmas Story” by Pastor Abe Zimmerman, FUMC.
The quarterly meeting of the Bedford County Historical Society will be held in the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on December 4. The meeting will begin with a potluck supper at 6:30pm, followed by a short business meeting. Then, the program will be presented by the Downtown Sound Swing Band featuring a musical tribute
