October 20, 2025 – Country star Craig Campbell and his wife Mindy opened the award-winning Grindstone Cowboy coffee shop, restaurant and music venue in Eagleville, Tennessee in 2022. They have since partnered with Beth and Mike Davis on a second location and have set Saturday, November 8, 2025 as the Grand Opening of Grindstone Cowboy in historic Shelbyville, Tennessee. The day-long celebration begins at 7 a.m. and will include live music and other events culminating in a concert headlined by Craig at 7 p.m.
“Anyone who knows us knows we’ve been working on this Shelbyville location for over two years,” said the Campbells. “We can’t believe the time to open the first floor is finally here. We have so many people to thank, starting with Beth and Mike for partnering with us, Shelbyville city leaders, the City Council, Thom Meek, everyone at Dowdle Construction, Mike Daniels, and everyone who has helped make this dream a reality.”
The Shelbyville Grindstone Cowboy is located in the historic downtown square at 100 Spring Street on the corner of Public Square West and West Depot Street. The original building was completely gutted, and the renovated 12,000 square-foot structure will eventually include two main floors, a speakeasy and a rooftop area overlooking downtown Shelbyville and the Duck River.
The Campbells are closing Grindstone Cowboy Eagleville at 3 p.m. on November 8 and encouraging customers to make the short drive to Shelbyville for the grand opening festivities. All events, including the live music, are free and open to the public.
