Jason Ray, Jr. age 55, of Dresden, TN, (formally of Shelbyville) passed from this life on Monday, June 2, 2025. He was born on May 17, 1970, in Shelbyville, TN to the late Jason Ray, Sr. and Virginia Joyce Ray.
Jason is survived by his children: Trevor Ray and Trenton Ray of Shelbyville; siblings: William Ray of Shelbyville, Melissa Kelly of Georgia, Sandra Farrar and James Farrar both of Shelbyville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy P. Farrar.
Born and raised in Shelbyville, Jason was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed fishing, riding horses but most of all loved spending time with his family.
Services were held Saturday, June 7, 2025, in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Gray officiating. Burial followed at Willow Mount Cemetery in Shelbyville.
