Joe T. Reed Jr., 82, of Shelbyville died December 7, 2023, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 10, at Hillcrest Funeral Home Rev. Bobby McGee officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m.
He was a native of Bedford County; a retired Pressman for the Shelbyville Times Gazette after 52 years; a member of Shelbyville Mills Baptist Church; a Mason, Scottish Rites and Shriner.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joe T. Reed Sr. and Mary Frances Hunter Reed and a brother, Roger Reed. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna Fay Pylant Reed
