Lady Champs roughed up at Blackman

MURFREESBORO — It was a a rough night for the Cascade Lady Champions at Blackman on Tuesday night.
The Lady Blaze drew 11 walks off Cascade and was able to capitalize in a 10-0 win over the Lady Champs.
Cascade out-hit Blackman 4-3, but two errors and 11 walks allowed Blackman to take the win over the Lady Champs.
Alayna Cruse, Victoria Wells, Alivia Fannin and Kyndal Bolden all connected on base hits against the Lady Blaze.
Blackman got on the board in the bottom of the first and continued to take advantage of the Cascade miscues.
Blackman scored two in the first, three in the second and by the end of the fourth, held an 8-0 lead over the Lady Champs.
Blackman added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth to close the game.
Cascade will be back on the road on Wednesday at Moore County, in a game originally scheduled for Friday night.
