The presenter for the May meeting of the Shelbyville Woman’s Club was Katie Hallum, owner of the Hen House Boutique located in North Main Marketplace (766 N. Main St. in Shelbyville) and online at www.hhouseboutique.com.
Katie discussed the importance of small business and why shopping local is vital for a community.
The hours are Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. She can also be found on Facebook and Instagram. The Hen House carries affordable women’s clothing for all sizes and accessories.
The club also did a lighting of the candles, Memoriam, for any member past or present that passed away between 2023 and 2024:
