Reba Faye Davis, 86, of Shelbyville went to be with the Lord Friday, September 1, 2023. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, September 7, at Hillcrest Funeral Home Darrel Whaley officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse George Reed and Mamie Lane Reed-Davis; her step father, Thomas P. Davis; loving husband of 67 years, Henry “Jack” Carmack Davis; brother, James Frank Reed Sr. and her sister, Emily Jean Reed Frost.
She is survived by her son, Ricky L. Davis and his wife, Pamela of Shelbyville and her granddaughters, Nicole Lindsey Davis and Courtney Renee Davis.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and loved to garden. She enjoyed watching sports with her family, especially basketball, as she was a phenomenal basketball player in school. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and we will cherish her beautiful heart and loving smile forever in our hearts.
