On Saturday, July 26th the Shelbyville-Bedford County Public Library celebrated 10 years in the current location with a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, followed by the groundbreaking for the new outdoor patio addition!
Along with the ribbon cutting and groundbreaking, it was only fitting to honor the memory of Rheaetta Wilson, a longtime advocate and supporter of the library. A dedicated shovel and hard hat were placed in her honor — a small tribute to the big impact she had on this community treasure.
This new addition is made possible through grant funding and continued support from Bedford County, the City of Shelbyville, and supporters of the library.
