Funeral services for Richard Larry Everett, age 63, of Shelbyville, were held 2 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2024, in the chapel off Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Bro. Buck Frazier officiating. Burial followed at Smiths Chapel Cemetery in Moore County. Mr. Everett passed from this life Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Ascension St. Thomas, Murfreesboro.
Visitation with the family was 5-8 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the funeral home.
Larry Everett was born on July 4, 1960, in Shelbyville, to the late Porter Everett and Ethel Dodson Everett. He enjoyed working on the family farm and playing his guitar. He was a faithful member of Abundant Life Church.
Survivors include: brother, Terry Everett of Wartrace; brother in-law, Carrol Crosslin of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by siblings; Doris Everett, Margaret Moulder, Billy Everett, Jimmy Everett, Earl Everett, Mary Alice Crosslin, and Juanita Everett.
