UNIONVILLE — A balanced scoring effort that saw three Raiders reach double figures was more than Community could overcome in a 67-35 loss at home earlier last week.
Community hung tough with the visitors through the first quarter, but trailed by eight after the first period.
The biggest blow came to the Vikings in a 16-2 run in the second quarter, where Community’s only field goal of the period came from Noah Watson.
In total, Landon Lovvorn matched a game-high effort with 15 points, but was the only Community player to hit double figures against Richland.
Community returned to its home floor this week, with home games against Central Magnet and Huntland on Monday and Tuesday, before closing the week at Eagleville on Friday night.
