Robert Clinton “Clint” Nease, age 67, of Shelbyville, passed from this life on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Tristar Summit Medical Center.
Clint was a native of Shelbyville, born August 30, 1956 to the late Hiram Lee Nease, Jr. and Lois Esterleen Reed Nease. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by; sister, Risë Nease Chockley.
He was a graduate of SCHS class of 1974. He was a master machinist and retired from Newell Rubbermaid in 2016. Clint was a talented individual. He had gifted hands that could do almost anything; from drawing and sketching, playing guitar and drums to working on engines, wood working, and leather working. He loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed putting his talents to use. He loved being with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Aubrey Nease Lemmons of Shelbyville; grandson, Cade Whitson; sister, Jeanette Nease Sherrill of Shelbyville; brother, Hiram Lee Neese, III and wife Ann; and nephews, Phillip Chockley and wife Melissa, and Micah Chockley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in the chapel of Doak Howell Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, at the funeral home.
