The 52nd Annual Shelbyville Jaycees parade will be happening on Dec 6 at 4 p.m. Several businesses and organizations will be present with unique floats. This year’s theme for the parade will be “Christmas Around the World” and a contest will be held for each entry in the parade afterwards. Floats will be judged in three categories, Parade Theme, Originality, and Creativity.
The Parade will begin at The Dinner Table and will turn onto Cannon Blvd and go through the Square. It will come out onto Main St. and turn right onto Madison Street near the Shelbyville Supermercado. The parade will then turn onto and come to a stop at the Celebration event grounds.
Over 50 businesses, organizations, and individuals have put in their entries with more expected to come. Santa will also be present as Shelbyville celebrates Christmas together.
