On Thursday, Shelbyville Central split a pair of matches against Marshall County, with the Tigerettes taking a 5-2 win over the Eaglettes, while the Eagles were able to grind out a 4-3 win over the Tigers.
Sophie Ray recorded the only singles win for Shelbyville with an 8-2 singles win.
Ryann Samons and Evelyn Basurto took the No. 2 doubles victory in an 8-6 thriller.
For the Eagles, Justin Spence, Jackson Benson, Hoyt Wessner and Tucker Johnson all claimed singles victories.
Against rival Tullahoma, Shelbyville split wins with the Eaglettes taking a clean, 7-0 sweep against the Lady Wildcats and the Eagles falling to the Wildcats, 4-3.
Caitlyn Burdick took the No. 1 singles win, 8-4, while Addie Berry claimed an 8-5 win in the No. 2 singles spot.
Alyssa Fanning edged out an 8-6 win, while Ryan Samons and Evelyn Basurto won an 8-1 and 8-0 singles match, respectively.
The Eaglettes also swept the doubles matchups, with Burdick and Samons taking an 8-2 win, while Berry and Fanning claimed a dominant 8-0 win.
While the Eaglettes dominated Tullahoma for the shutout win, the Wildcats won a couple of thrilling singles matches to escape with a 4-3 win over Shelbyville.
Jackson Benson wan a 7-5 singles match, while Tucker Johnson won a marathon, 10-8 singles victory.
Spence and Johnson won the only doubles match, 8-5.
