Slow start dooms Viqueens at Moore Co.

LYNCHBURG — Offense was a struggle for Community as the Viqueens dropped their final game of 2023 on the road on Friday night at Moore County.
The Raiderettes rode a hot start to the 47-32 win over the Purple and Gold.
Moore County went on an 18-3 tear to open the game and never let off the throttle until the fourth quarter.
In the fourth, Community put a dent into the Raiderette lead, but couldn’t overcome the earlier deficit, even with a 17-4 run.
Alyssa White led the Viqueens with nine points, while Katy Fletcher led the Raiderettes with 14.
