Belmont Athletics Mason Landers was named the MVC Player of the Week, highlighted by his three home runs and eight RBIs.

Former Cascade Lady Champion Kailey Snell and former Golden Eagle Mason Landers made their mark on their respective high school programs.
Not much has changed at the college level.
During the week of March 25-31, Snell, who now plays for the University of Tennessee- Chattanooga, was named the TSWA Player of the Week and was also named the Southern Conference Player of the Week.
She hit .900 in the three-game sweep of East Tennessee State, drove in three runs, scored six and added four stolen bases.
Like Snell, Landers, who now plays for Belmont University, also had a stellar week and was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week.
He went .462 at the plate and led the Bruins to a sweep at Murray State with three home runs and eight RBIs.
Both Landers and Snell are in their senior seasons at the collegiate level.
