Viqueens Go 3-2 During Busy Spring Break Slate in Fort Walton Beach

The Community Viqueens wrapped up a busy spring break stretch with a 3-2 record, leaning on the arm of Annie Prince and a lineup that delivered in several big moments.
Gahanna Lincoln, Ohio 4, Community 3
Annie Prince struck out 13 batters, but Community came up just short in a 4-3 loss to Gahanna Lincoln on Sunday.
The Viqueens jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning behind RBI hits from Mattie Maxey and Kailani Allen, along with a run-scoring triple from Kamyrn Farrell.
Gahanna Lincoln chipped away and delivered the go-ahead hit in the seventh inning to seal the win.
Prince allowed four runs on six hits over seven innings, while Anna Haskins led Community at the plate, going 2-for-3. Allen, Maxey and Farrell each drove in a run.
Community 8, Olentangy, Ohio 2
After being held scoreless through six innings and trailing 2-0, Community erupted for eight runs over the final two frames to pull away for an 8-2 win over Olentangy on Monday.
The breakthrough came in the seventh. After being limited to scattered hits early, the Viqueens finally cracked through with a two-run inning to even the game and send the game to extra innings.
Community exploded for six runs in the eighth inning, stringing together timely hits up and down the lineup to turn a tight contest into a convincing victory.
Anna Haskins led the offensive charge, going 3-for-5 with two RBIs. Ryleigh Lassiter added two hits and scored twice, while Kamryn Farrell, Madi Maxey, Kailani Allen, Gracie Daniel and Kenzie Tucker each drove in a run as part of an 11-hit effort.
In the circle, Annie Prince delivered a dominant performance. The right-hander went the distance, allowing just four hits and two runs while striking out 17. She kept the Viqueens within striking distance early and took over as the offense came alive late.
Mt. Vernon, Ohio 12, Community 2
Community couldn’t generate much offense Tuesday, finishing with just two hits in a 12-2 loss to Mt. Vernon.
Kailani Allen and Mattie Maxey each recorded a hit for the Viqueens, while Allen and Kamyrn Farrell drove in Community’s two runs.
Despite limited opportunities, Community capitalized when it could, but struggled to string together consistent at-bats. In the circle, Gracie Daniel worked three innings, allowing six runs as Mt. Vernon used timely hits and power to build separation.
Community 8, Bath County, Kentucky 4
Community rallied from an early deficit to beat Bath County 8-4 on Thursday behind a strong showing at the plate and dominant relief pitching.
Kamryn Farrell led the offense with four hits, including a triple and double, while Kailani Allen and Alana Tate added multi-hit games. Annie Prince and Haylee Webb each drove in two runs as the Viqueens finished with 13 hits.
In the circle, Prince took over in relief and was untouchable, tossing six hitless innings with 13 strikeouts to secure the win.
Community 12, Logan Elm, Ohio 3
Community rode a dominant outing from Annie Prince and a balanced offensive attack to a 12-3 win over Logan Elm on Friday.
Prince was electric in the circle, striking out 16 while allowing just four hits and three unearned runs over a complete game without a walk.
At the plate, Mattie Maxey powered the Viqueens with four RBIs, highlighted by a two-run home run. Gracie Daniel led the hit parade with three hits and two RBIs, while Kamyrn Farrell added a two-run triple.
Anna Haskins, Kailani Allen, Addison Tate, and Haylee Webb each contributed multiple hits as Community totaled 16 on the night. A four-run third and five-run fourth gave the Viqueens full control as they cruised the rest of the way.
The Viqueens (13-7, 2-0) get back into district action at home Tuesday against Forrest. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 P.M.
