The Fly Arts Center starts their Christmas season

The Fly Arts Center will be kicking off its holiday season with 22 days of Christmas across the month of December. Starting on the Dec 5, The Fly will begin its production of Steel Magnolias, going through the first and second weekends of the month. Tickets are selling out fast with over 780 sold. Koffee Beanz will be doing catering on site along with dinner being served at 6:00 p.m. for ticket-holders. The productions will begin at 7:00 p.m. after the dinner.

This year will feature a new tradition at The Fly with the “Trees of Awareness” that will showcase 22 non-profit organizations in the Bedford County area. Drop-off boxes will be available for donations to the various organizations to contribute to their efforts of improving the community.

The current list of participating organizations consists of: Center for Family Development, Haven of Hope, Shelbyville-Bedford Humane Society, Cooking With a Veteran, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Blood Assurance, Caregiver Relief Program, The Fly Arts Center, Canine Care Sanctuary, Shelbyville Community Soup Kitchen, Catholic Charities, UT Extension Office, Homes of Hope, Bedford Builds Habitat for Humanity, Nelson Legacy Project, New Destiny Dog Rescue, Community Development Center, Dreams of Joy Foundation, Truth and Nails Technical Center, Moving Onward Moms, and First Choice Pregnancy Center.
