LaFAYETTE — What was a competitive first half on Thursday night at Macon County came apart after halftime as the Viqueens just couldn’t maintain pace in the second half.
The Lady Tigers outscored Community 24-7 in the second half and Community fell, 45-27.
While struggling to score in the paint, Community did manage to knock down a handful of 3-pointers in the first half to keep it close.

Macon County led 10-8 after the first quarter, but it was Community that rallied on a 12-11 run to cut the lead to one point by halftime.
