LYLES — Consistency on the offensive end of the court was a struggle for the Community Viqueens on Tuesday night.
After nine days since their last game at Forrest, the Purple and Gold went cold from the floor and fell, 43-25 to the Lady Eagles.
Just four Viqueens (6-13) scored at East Hickman (16-6) on Tuesday, with Anna Haskins’ 12 points leading Community.
East was hot out of the gates and went on a 14-5 run through the first quarter and again held Community to single digits in the second quarter, giving up just six points.
By halftime, the Lady Eagles bumped their lead to 25-11.
Not much changed in the second half as the hosts posted runs of 13-8 in the third quarter and closed game with five more in the fourth.
Of the nine players dressed for the Lady Eagles, six scored and two hit double figures on Tuesday night.
Taylor Holt’s 15 points led all scorers.
