Funeral services for William Randall Bee, age 72, of Shelbyville, Tenn., will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024, in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery. William Randall Bee passed from this life Saturday, March 9, 2024.
Visitation will be held prior to funeral services beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Bee was born on February 25, 1952, in Nashville, Tenn. He was son of the late William Julian Bee and Jean Simpson Bee. He graduated from Stratford High School then proceeded at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, Tenn. Before his retirement, he worked as a technician for Jones Heating & Cooling, a General foreman/multi-skilled tradesman engineer at Johnson Control, and previous owner of A-1 Air Care. He was also a farmer of agriculture and was a member – past and present – with the HAM Radio Association Bedford, Marshall, Lincoln and Dekalb Counties.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Debra Bee; children, Jeanne Louise (Cameron Lee) Tipton of Georgia, William Jonathan Bee and Barry Randall Bee both of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Addilyn, Nola, Cajun, and Easton; siblings, Valerie Gail (Mike) Walker of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Amy Eades of Alabama.
Along with his parents, Mr. Bee was preceded in death by brother Glen “Bubba” Dodd, and sisters, Connie Bean and Glenna “Sissy” Fischer.
