This six-week program is designed to help people with diabetes learn how to manage their disease and improve their health. A sobriety checkpoint will be present on Thursday, March 7, at 9 p.m. on S.R. 82 at the 6.5 miles marker in Bedford County.

Blankenship Community Church will be holding a spaghetti supper on Saturday, March 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the church, 3602 Midland Rd. The cost will be $10 per plate and will include spaghetti, bread, drink and desert. Funds raised will benefit the Blankenship Women's Group in their missions.

This event will be Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be there and available for photos. There will also be face painting and if you wear your Easter Bonnet or Hat, you will qualify for a drawing.

Youth Leadership Bedford, in partnership with Tony Rice, will be hosting “Bedford Together” on Saturday, March 23, on the Shelbyville Square from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will have games, live entertainment, and food trucks.

Kindergarten Registration will be May 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at each elementary school (Cartwright registration will be hosted at East Side Elementary School & Eakin Elementary School).
