The Bedford County Democratic Party will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 15, at their headquarters in the Executive Building (yellow brick building next to the Fly) at 210 South Main in Shelbyville.

Pleasant Grove Rich Valley Community Club Semi-Annual Supper will be Tuesday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at Liberty Lions Club Building on U.S. 231 South in Shelbyville. Meal will be potluck with meat and drink is provided. Everyone invited.

Tennessee College of Applied Technology Shelbyville (TCAT) is excited to announce the upcoming Spring Graduation Ceremony, honoring the achievements of all 2023 term graduates and Spring 2024 term graduates. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 18, at 6 p.m. at the Shelbyville Central High School Gymnasium located at 401 Eagle Blvd.

A tent revival, titled "Suddenly," will be held beginning Friday and lasting through Sunday at 1701 Green Lane in Shelbyville. The Community High School Band is hosting the “Viking Dash”, a 5-K/1-mile walk or run April 20 at 9 a.m.

The Celebration City Region Car Club Cruise-In will be every fourth Friday each month on the Shelbyville Square from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is free and includes food vendors and live music. You can bring your car or just come look.

There will be another sobriety checkpoint on Friday, April 26, at 9 p.m. on 64 east, 0.6 miles east of the 15-mile marker in Bedford County.
