The South Central Human resource Agency Governing Board meeting will be on Thursday, April 4, at 11 a.m. at their central office, 1437 Winchester Hwy. in Fayetteville. The Budget/Audit/Appropriations, Property, and Personnel Committees will meet prior to the meeting at 10 a.m.

It will be a time to harken back to yesteryear as the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association comes to the Cooper Steel Arena on the Celebration Grounds. A Car Show will be held at Shelbyville Central High School, 401 Eagle Blvd., on Saturday, April 6, beginning at 10 a.m. The event will feature vendors, food, and a car competition. The cost is $25 per entry. All donations benefit the high school football program.
The Flat Creek Community Center will have their regular potluck meal at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 6. Guitarists Ben Ayers and Dakota Lawen will perform a set of traditional music with bassist and percussionist, Angela Wood, at 7 p.m. following the meal.
