The Bedford County Anti-Drug Coalition will meet at 6 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 2200 N. Main St. in Shelbyville on Thursday, Feb. 29. This meeting will be open to the public.
Matter of Balance is a program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. The series of eight classes consists of discussion, activities and exercises to reduce fall risks and increase strength and balance. The class is free and will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays, March 1 – 26, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Blankenship Community Church will be holding a spaghetti supper on Saturday, March 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the church, 3602 Midland Rd. The cost will be $10 per plate and will include spaghetti, bread, drink and desert. Funds raised will benefit the Blankenship Women's Group in their missions.
This event will be Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be there and available for photos. There will also be face painting and if you wear your Easter Bonnet or Hat, you will qualify for a drawing.
